I took this one, after another unnamed member used is superman-like finger nails to take them off...I honestly don't see the point of taping the headlights if your going to keep the hubcaps on. SCCA...

Congrats, Kyle. I personally don't participate in car shows, really at all, unless it's the one big one on the mainland. Sitting and watching people kinda got old for me. That and the sun burn. haha....

I am almost never around my car at the shows. I am usually always checking out other cars or scrounging the swapmeet.

Yup. it's an excuse. I'd never compete with the 60+ 1958-1966 cars. Same thing, a lot of trailer queens and people who wrote checks for everything. I enter in Special Interest.

Yep painted stripes are the way to go and the ONLY way to ensure any lifting from the compound curves on a VW. My car is painted from apron to apron...
